Look, we know shoes. We know grip, fit, durability, etc. We know very little about socks. So we went to MudGear for help. MudGear makes the toughest, hardest-working socks and accessories in the OCR and trail world. Plus, they are a great team.
We worked with MudGear to design the best socks - a performance sock resilient enough to withstand outdoor race conditions and tough enough to protect racers from the course itself. They helped us design socks that will stand up to what VJ customers throw at them. (We think they look pretty cool too!)
You can consider these socks to be medium cushion and medium compression and ALL AWESOME.
The Higher ankle shield keeps dirt and rocks out - just tight enough to do the work, but not too tight of a compression fit. The footbed is soft and cushioned, but not thick in a way that will soak up and hold water or mud.
